Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit - for £24.99 today

Game email told me I could get NFS Hot Pursuit for £24.99 today. I had a fiver on my loyalty card too, so I couldn't resist this for £19.99. All ordered up:

Much as I'm enjoying GT5 and have Black Ops coming from my missus, I miss Burnout Paradise's uber fast madness - seeing this is from the same team (saving the NFS franchise from self destruction in one foul swoop) I just have to rock this one...

    agree 100%, got it to see me through the norovirus last week, alot of fun. Keep meaning to play some more.. too many games piled up at the mo

    I was considering NFS, but I don't think the budget is gonna stretch. I'm getting Dead Space 2, LBP2 & KZ3 (collector's editions) in Jan/Feb.
    On a side note... Dead Nation is freakin schweet. Just finished the campaign on co-op with the GF & loved every minute.

    @Reakt - yep I think it will! I'm flipping between GT5, Dead Nation, various with my daughter (Uncharted 1, Peggle) and even a bit of Warhawk (Starhawk announcement!). I've even got the Ballad of Gay Tony to finish before I give the lend back!

    @Devine - total agree, Dead Nation is so essential it hurts. Reakt & I were trying to get organised for some co-op, not happened yet, but I'm solo on Grim, about 70% through. The lighting effects are incredible, how they manage to make a fight with 1 zombie as consequential as a fight with 100 is pure gameplay genius.

    I think the PS3 onslaught of quality titles is fantastic (if a bit expensive!) - reminds me of when PS2 found it's stride. I expect the XBoxers feel much the same too, happy days for all.

    @Jimmy - still want to play deadnation online with you sometime soon but I've had a nightmare couple of weeks at work trying to get an Android platform up and running. From next week I'm off work til after Christmas though so will have more time for games then.
