PS3 making paper for EA

It has been revealed that the Sony PS3 and PC have both outperformed the Xbox 360 in terms of Electronic Arts sales, after figures for the company’s quarter ending June 30th was released.

According to MCV, revenues from the Nintendo Wii made the most for EA, with $161m earnt, comparing with the $109m they made last year in the same quarter.

The PC was next in the list, managing to make the company 124m. Then surprisingly, the PS3 followed with total revenues of 121m, compared to the Xbox 360’s 73m. The PSP even managed to score one over the DS for EA.

  1. Kinda makes that Activision guy look like a bit of a clown.

    To me it seems like there's been a bit of shift in mentality with EA (not too much - they are still after the dolla$) but at least they seem to reinvest that money in better tech (I am particulalry looking forward to FIFA 10, even though I have been a PES/ISS man for most of my life).

    At least they don't try to sell you £100 worth of plastic tat with every game - every 10 months!

  2. FIFA 10 with the 360' dribbling!! big feature it seems. i can't say i noticed the last one was only 8 directional :)

    nice to see the PS3 doing well somewhere though -heh-
