Fallout 3 DLC

"So when can you expect Fallout 3 DLC? We are knee deep in testing at the moment, and we’re hoping to have the first DLC out by the end of September. That long? Keep in mind that not only do we need to test each DLC on PS3, we also need to test each DLC when used in conjunction with each of the other DLC, as well as all of them together, along with the entire original game"

- Ashley Cheng // Production Director, Bethesda Softworks

yeah, i'm suuuuuuuuure they did that on the X360. Bastards. seeing as we were supposed to have it 'at the end of June' September feels like a right kick in the balls, i dunno, do i bother anymore waiting for teh DLC or just hang on until xmas and get the GOTY edition with all the junk stuck on blu-ray anyway.

*deep sigh* how could they have done this to my favorite game? i guess it goes back on the shelf now to collect dust and never get played again. Adios Wastelands, we had many many MANY good hours of gameplay together.

[mobiletone] ps: we got mentioned on the radio today :D

  1. Whilst I have the original fallout 3 (50 hours of joy in!) I reckon i may just trade it in and pick up the GOTY edition.

  2. i've burnt 185hrs on it so far, still not visited (and killed everyone) all the locations on the map yet, think i may just run with it for the next 15hrs to break the milestone 200 mark and hang it up until we get GOTY version hopefully.

sucks that the X360 gets the final part of DLC 'Mothership Zeta' on XBL on 2nd August, we won't even have the first part by then.

is anyone still bothered about getting the GTAiv DLC? i know i'm not, it's over a year late as far as i'm concerned.

Yeah, the radio, i messaged the group of girls who were doing a show on Future FM this morning (and was my ever charming self) and they read out our URL and had a laugh about what i'd written to them. does that make us media superstars now? were are my groupies? :D

  3. I've not even done the second mission on GTA4, never mind the DLC...

    yawn-fest imho!!

@tone. You'll be muchos disappointed to know that after a bit more time with Fallout recently, I'm not that keen. :(

Other games that failed to impress me: Assasains Creed and FarCry 2.

No sandbox love in the Amigo household!

  4. @ pablo - i am a sandbox loving monkey :) structured games like Killzone2 and DeadSpace are alright but you can nail both of them in a long evening or two then that's it, they have nothing more to give, £40, 10hrs, thank you very much now go buy another game. at least with sandbox games i feel i've got my moneys worth from them, i like all the exploring and collecting things, keeps me amused.

  7. @ pablo - about the only genre i don't play much is beat 'em ups but i have a couple i like, probably for the wrong reasons :) or football, grud i loath football/sports games. really can't see how people get excited over them, to me fifa 09 is the same as fifa 2000. bring back Sensible Soccer i say! :)

Oh I love a good scrapper, 2D reigns supreme though!

You should try FIFA 09, especially with all the assists off - hardcore. The new version sounds delish too!

But I will give you Sensi, what a game!! I also admired the work of Dino Dini. ;)
