Tim Dog on PS3

One of my favourite old 12 inches comes to Vidzone - it's a big noisy hip hop kick in the face, great old school east coast rap - not for when your mum comes over though.

Go to Vidzone
Search for Tim Dog, I Get Wrecked
Turn up the volume
Turn up the bass
Play Now...

While your at it, go for Roots Manuva - Witness - probably the funniest video of all time and keep the volume and bass up too as it's one of the best UK Hip Hop tunes of all time.

It's not all about rap though is it? Drop your favourites into the comments box please, I need a U3S playlist

  1. It's all about a tribe called quest - I left my wallet in el segundo!

I also have a bit of little fluffy clouds and toxygene by the orb, some wagon Christ, aphex twin, Amon tobin. Just waiting on some boards of Canada and flying lotus.

With you on the witness video mr j. Not sure if it's on vidzone, but you should check out 'from your mouth' by god lives underwater. The video for that is one of my personal faves.

Gutted they have edited the window licker vid. The hip hop parody at the start is awesome!

  2. Favourite Hiphop tracks - KRS-One - "MC's act like they don't know"; Nas - "Nas is like" (There should be a playlist for tracks produced by DJ Premiere!).

  4. @Mr Jimmy

I have the Chris Cunnigham DVD with all his Warp stuff on there (inc. his Aphex work). Also have a Ninja Tunes Zen TV one as well which has some great videos.

I've already requested more stuff like that from the vidzone team so hopefully there are a few likeminded people and we can get some proper banging videos up!

I hear Tone is all about the Eurodance...

as a sidenote - did anyone ever visit the site Sputnik 7? They used to have some wicked music videos on there. Wonder what happened to it?

ok, so i was front and centre for Apex Twin at a Tribal Gathering back in the day off my nut on trippy pills and some good amphet' 10ft tall fighting teddy bears FTW!

like Hiphop more on a NWA/Cyprus Hill tip with a dollop of DMC in the mix.

i like me RAWK, and vidzone kinda fails in that department :( proper metal none of this poxy nu-stuff.

look up 'Black Betty' by Spiderbait one of my fav tracks so far.

    others:-

GZERO - boom shake the room

    DUNE hardcore vibes

    Roksopp

and if i have to get large

    Tiesto - Adagio for Strings

  6. I like Tiesto as well. His videos are quite funny to watch - he's such a show-off - prancing around in a DJ booth suspended above a huge crowd of adoring fans, pretending to be actually producing the track live, whilst grinning at the camera every once in a while and putting his hands in the air. He's a bit like Paul Oakenfold - another Dance-music-poser. Truth be told most of the vids I watch on VidZone are the still the cheesy dance tunes with the hot chicks! :-P
