Gotta disagree. Am only playing Uncharted 2 during those rare times when I need a break from Borderlands. Once I have the platinum, I'll probably only play Uncharted again as a refresher before number 3 appears. Don't get me wrong, it is incredible. I just think Borderlands is better.
@ muggle - i've just figured you have to complete the DLC, which we haven't got yet, to get the Platinum trophy. that's a bit cheeky! Looking forwards to shooting zombies in the head though :)
finished Borderlands last night (main and side missions), Lv37 PlagueBearer Siren, when you load it up again it give you a 'sencond playthrough' option, so i had a quick peek and it looks like it's added an extra 30 Levels to the Bandits etc. so the ones you meet at the start depot are now all Lv32. good job it lets you use your same character though!
@tone I'd imagine the second playthrough is essential if you want that level 50 trophy then! Congrats on finishing. I'm still only a level 23 soldier (keep swapping the mods currently).
I was assuming the DLC trophies were not essential for the platinum. Not bothered if they are needed, as getting the DLC is obviously a given.
We'll have to meet up for some co-op soon, as I saw you didnt have the "And They'll Tell Two Friends" trophy yet. Got that the moment I played online :)
damn right, i will get that Lv50 Trophy if i have to kill everyone on Pandora twice! the ending is classic win! i found two class modifiers i really liked and switch between them depending if i wanted to burn people or make their skin a toxic mess.
The Platinum trophy is for killing all bosses.. or so i thought, but a quick look on the youtube (borderlands platinum trophy ps3) reveals that you need all the other trophies except the dlc ones. the description of it is a bit misleading i guess.
*And They Tell Two Friends" jammy sod! i saw you were on last night just as i'd finished playing and went to upload my newest trophies, but 0800 error on that front. yeah, i'll be playing over the weekend, drop me an invite so i can join in and mooch around the badlands with you.

I thought it was just me getting the 0800 error on trophies. I seem to get it almost constantly. Takes me 4 or 5 attempts to sync usually, and that's if I'm lucky.
I think all platinum trophies require every other (original) trophy to acquire, though I agree that the description of this one is a bit misleading.
And should definitely be around at least some of the weekend, although I suspect even the skag whelps will be a nightmare for me in your world. :P
